We love coming here for the all you can eat! Compared to cheaper options, you can definitely taste the difference in quality. Though, to be fair, the cheapest all you can eat option is $58/pp… The service is usually fantastic as well! Very attentive and quick with the food.

As I expected, the meat was extremely tough. I cooked it thoroughly, but when I tried the first piece, it was very hard to chew. I then tried a second piece, and it was just as toughβ€”I could barely bite into it. The staff offered to replace the meat, but since it all comes from the same supplier, I felt that another order would probably be just as tough. I was not satisfied with my experience. I’m very disappointed that I wasn’t able to enjoy a good meal here. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this restaurant.

Gyu-Kaku is one of the best Japanese BBQ experiences we’ve had. The quality of the meat was excellent, and grilling everything at the table made the meal both fun and interactive. One thing that really stood out was the authentic charcoal-grilled flavorβ€”it gave the meat a rich, smoky taste that you don’t get at many other BBQ restaurants. There was a great variety of meats, and everything we tried was fresh, tender, and well-marinated. The appetizers and side dishes complemented the meal nicely, and the sauces added even more flavor without overpowering the meat. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place for families, friends, or a casual date night. The staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to explain the menu and grilling recommendations.

We came across this place while exploring Lakeview, and I think it’s definitely worth the experience. Everything was good, from the food to the atmosphere. Glad we found it.

This visit was disappointing and felt misleading, as the dish did not match what was advertised. I visited Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ, and as a Japanese customer who has always enjoyed Gyu-Kaku, this experience was particularly upsetting. The dish I ordered did not resemble the menu photo, and the portion was smaller. When I asked for clarification, I was repeatedly told that the portion is now 3 oz, while the menu photo reflects 3.5 oz. If the portion size has changed, why has the menu not been updated? The discrepancy between what is shown and what is served is confusing and feels misleading. What also bothered me was the presentation. At the very least, the thinly sliced ribeye should be properly unfolded, as shown in the menu photosβ€”that is part of the experience at a BBQ restaurant. Even supermarket meat is better presented than this .Instead, it was served as a small, uneven portion, very different from what is advertised. I understand some variation can occur, but this felt like a significant difference. What made the situation worse was how it was handled. When I questioned the dish, the server asked me to hand over the tongs and began unfolding the ribeye at the table
